"RACING"

• The Rear Commodore & or the Race Committee will decide the course  by 12 noon depending on the wind.

• All participants will comply with PHOSC SI's (sailing instructions) and the  "Racing Rules of Sailing Blue 2021-2024 "  <<<<click on this link

• Normally the start line is between the starters box in the clubhouse and a start buoy just out from the clubhouse pontoon.

• The race clock  in the starters box starts counting down at 1pm.

• The starters clock will initially display "60:0" and then commence counting down in tenths of a minute ie. every 00:1 = 6 seconds.

• Individual start times vary for each class of dinghy as follows:

• The race starts when the starters clock indicates the following:    Open class =  50:0     • Heron = 35:0     • NS14 = 15:0

      PHOSC RACE RESULTS:      

• Race results will be posted under the "RACE RESULTS" link under the  "Club Racing" drop down menu.
