Congratulations to all competitors that contested the 65th National Heron Championships that were held from Monday 5th January 2026 to Saturday 10 January 2026 on the waters of Lake Macquaire NSW.

Hosted by Wangi Wangi RSL Sailing Club (WWRSC), in conjunction with the National Heron Sailing Association of Australia Inc. (NHSAA) and the New South Wales  Heron Sailing Association Inc.

The scratch winner was mother and daughter combination Kylie & Mia Vaiciurgis sailing "2 Flamingos Dancing" from CHYC.

PHOSC father & daughter combination Keith & Georgette McIntosh sailing "Grey Pearl" put in a fantastic effort representing our club and finishing 32nd overall despite a few DNS races, well done!
