ABOUT US

About us @ "PORT HACKING SAILING"

  • Port Hacking Open Sailing Club is a friendly community based family club on the shores of Yowie Bay in Sydney’s South.

  • Since 1945, when the club was founded, races have been conducted regularly on the waters of Port Hacking.

  • Our dinghies race weekly on Sunday afternoons during the sailing season - September to April.

  • Club members race various dinghy classes and participants of all ages and abilities are welcome.

  • Currently our main racing classes are Herons and NS14s. For the juniors we have BIC's, Optis, MJs and Flying 11's. We also have a small open class for dinghies that don't fit other classes.

  • Adult and Junior teaching sessions when we have sufficient numbers. Coaching can be arranged.

  • There are several membership categories  including a Family Membership which makes sailing affordable and fun for everyone.

  • Membership is open to all levels of experience.  Beginners both Adults and kids (>5yrs) are welcome.
